Crypto escrow questions and answers
Do I need to verify my identity?+
No. You need a confirmed email address to trade, and two-factor authentication to withdraw. No ID documents.
Who can see my email?+
Nobody but you and Zeus OTC staff. Before a deal starts, other traders see only your sales count, rating and join date. Once a deal is agreed, both sides see each other's username.
Which coins can I pay with?+
USDT on Tron (TRC20), USDT on BNB Chain (BEP20), USDC on BNB Chain (BEP20), USDC on Arbitrum, USDC on Base, USDC on Polygon, USDC on Optimism. You can also pay from your Zeus OTC balance, for example with money from a refund or a sale.
Why do I have to send an exact USDT or USDC amount?+
All stablecoin payments go to one address per network, and the last decimals of the amount tell us which deal you're paying. Send exactly what the payment page shows, from a wallet that doesn't subtract fees from the amount. If you sent the wrong amount, contact us with the transaction ID.
What if I pay after the payment window closes?+
The money isn't lost. It's added to your Zeus OTC balance, and you can use it for another deal or withdraw it.
How long does the seller have to deliver?+
The delivery time shown on the listing, counted from when your payment arrives. If they miss it, you can cancel for a full refund. If they still haven't delivered a while later, the deal refunds automatically.
What if I forget to confirm?+
The delivery confirms automatically 72 hours after the seller marks it delivered. If something's wrong, open a dispute before then.
What is the protection hold?+
For wallet handovers, the money waits 72 hours after you confirm before going to the seller. If something moves out of the wallet in that time, you can still dispute.
How does pricing per token work?+
Sellers set a price per token with up to six decimals, like $0.0048, and the amount for sale. You choose how many tokens to buy, from the seller's minimum order up to all of them, and see the total before paying. The smallest deal is $1.00.
Can delivery happen after the token launches?+
Yes. Sellers set a delivery deadline of up to 6 months, so allocations can be sold before TGE. Your payment stays in escrow until the tokens arrive. If the deadline passes without delivery, you can cancel for a full refund.
How are disputes decided?+
An admin reads the deal room, the encrypted delivery and any files you both attached, then either releases the money to the seller or refunds the buyer in full. Both sides see the decision and the reason.
What does it cost?+
0% for the buyer and 0% for the seller, only on completed deals. Details on the fees page.
How do withdrawals work?+
Choose a coin, paste your address and confirm with your two-factor code. The minimum is $10.00. Withdrawals are checked and sent by our team, usually within 24 hours.
What can't be sold?+
Anything stolen or obtained through fraud, and a few other things. See the prohibited items policy.
